Jesse Kohl

Professional Profile

Jesse began his career at Corporate Central in August 2002 and has been instrumental in the expansion efforts of Corporate Central’s products, services, strategic alliances, education, and overall membership base. Jesse started as a Relationship Development Officer and worked directly with member credit unions to assess their financial climate and needs, and deliver value-added solutions to enhance their operations. In April 2008, Jesse became Director-Business Development and oversaw all Midwest growth efforts for Corporate Central. In January 2014, Jesse became Vice President Business Development and now leads Corporate Central's sales, business development, marketing, and strategic alliance efforts by working with existing and future member credit unions across the country. 

In 2016, Jesse was named President of Corporate Central’s wholly owned CUSO, InterLutions, with a drive to provide innovative business solutions to credit unions across the country.

With nearly 15 years of experience working in the credit union movement, Jesse is proud of the accomplishments credit unions have achieved over the years, and believes there is tremendous opportunity for all credit unions to become wildly successful. “It’s been an absolute joy working with so many credit unions across the country, and witnessing first-hand the amazing benefits credit unions provide to their members and communities. Personal Profile

Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Finance. Although 50 years late to the wild music scene known as the British Invasion, Jesse still considers himself a “Beatle-maniac”, has learned every Beatles song on guitar, and will challenge anyone to a game of Beatles Trivial Pursuit. He resides in Fort Atkinson, WI with his amazing wife, Deanne, and their three wonderful children.

Patti Wubbels

Patti Wubbels is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Strategic Resource Management (SRM), an independent firm that helps financial institutions identify cost savings and new revenue potential in their contractual relationships.

Wubbels has over 20 years of business development experience and 13+ years of experience in the banking industry. At SRM, she works with financial institutions in the upper Midwest by taking a strategic approach to the vendor landscape – including validating contract pricing, assisting in RFPs, developing digital roadmaps, and data-driven gap analysis – to improve efficiencies and drive bottom line results.

Wubbels is passionate about leveling the playing field for her customers. Having experience on all sides of the table gives her the advantage of each perspective and how to maximize this important relationship.

Prior to joining SRM, Wubbels spent 3 years at Venminder helping financial institutions across the US with their vendor oversight programs, and 3 years at Jack Henry, where her team led clients to develop commercial lending programs for alternative revenue sources. Other experience includes bank Branch Manager and VP of Cash Management, as well as credit union Sales/Services Training Manager.

Wubbels has served in the Gulf War for the US Navy and holds both an MBA in Management and a BA in Business from Doane College. She lives with her family in Lincoln, Nebraska and presently addresses the needs of financial institutions throughout the Midwest including Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Uma Zielinski

Uma Zielinski is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Strategic Resource Management (SRM), an independent firm that helps financial institutions identify cost savings and new revenue potential in their contractual relationships.

Zielinski joined SRM in 2015 with more than 25 years of financial services, account management, and business development experience, successfully leading a broad range of sales and marketing initiatives.

A top-performing professional in the financial services industry, Zielinski came to SRM from Deluxe Corporation where she worked closely with banks and credit unions, along with state associations, in both business development and account management roles.  Her previous experience includes Sales Management for Paychex, Major Account Management for Xerox, and being Vice President for First American Trust Company.

Zielinski’s significant business development expertise includes consultative selling techniques, identifying and closing opportunities for revenue and market share growth, and managing all aspects of prospective territory development. With a proven track record of increasing revenues and improving operating efficiency, Zielinski has helped numerous companies increase profitability.

Zielinski holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. She is based in Columbus, Ohio, and manages new client development efforts with financial institutions in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
