Jesse Kohl

Professional Profile

Jesse began his career at Corporate Central in August 2002 and has been instrumental in the expansion efforts of Corporate Central’s products, services, strategic alliances, education, and overall membership base. Jesse started as a Relationship Development Officer and worked directly with member credit unions to assess their financial climate and needs, and deliver value-added solutions to enhance their operations. In April 2008, Jesse became Director-Business Development and oversaw all Midwest growth efforts for Corporate Central. In January 2014, Jesse became Vice President Business Development and now leads Corporate Central's sales, business development, marketing, and strategic alliance efforts by working with existing and future member credit unions across the country. 

In 2016, Jesse was named President of Corporate Central’s wholly owned CUSO, InterLutions, with a drive to provide innovative business solutions to credit unions across the country.

With nearly 15 years of experience working in the credit union movement, Jesse is proud of the accomplishments credit unions have achieved over the years, and believes there is tremendous opportunity for all credit unions to become wildly successful. “It’s been an absolute joy working with so many credit unions across the country, and witnessing first-hand the amazing benefits credit unions provide to their members and communities. Through hard work and collaboration, the credit union movement will not simply survive, it will thrive!”

Personal Profile

Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Finance. Although 50 years late to the wild music scene known as the British Invasion, Jesse still considers himself a “Beatle-maniac”, has learned every Beatles song on guitar, and will challenge anyone to a game of Beatles Trivial Pursuit. He resides in Fort Atkinson, WI with his amazing wife, Deanne, and their three wonderful children.

Ben Mrva

Ben Mrva is Executive Vice President and the head of financial institution sales and marketing for SRM (Strategic Resource Management, Inc.), an independent firm that helps financial institutions identify cost savings and new revenue potential in their contractual relationships.

With more than 14 years of industry consultant experience, Mrva has been a key influencer in the growth and success of SRM.  His expertise spans every aspect of a client engagement including partner development, sales, marketing, and project management – start to finish. 

Mrva also created and built out SRM’s strategic solutions practice.  With a focus on referral partners, trade associations, and collaborative business partners, this division now represents 50 percent of SRM’s new client engagements and 30 percent of its corporate revenue year over year.  In his roles with the Strategic Planning Team and SRM’s Advisory Board, Mrva has been and continues to be a critical component of the company’s expanding client base and evolving product delivery suite.

Prior to SRM, Mrva spent six hears with Lockheed Martin, beginning his career as a subcontract and supplier manager, and also working in finance as part of a new business acquisition team.  At the time of his departure, he was the financial operations manager of a commercial subsidiary based in Dallas.

Mrva obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Yale University and, while at Lockheed Martin, completed is Masters in Business Administration at Binghamton University as part of an executive development program.  Today Mrva enjoys golf and a variety of fitness activities, and cherishes time spent with his wife and two children at their home in Germantown, TN.

Uma Zielinski

Uma Zielinski is Senior Vice President of Business Development at SRM (Strategic Resource Management, Inc.), an independent firm that helps financial institutions identify cost savings and new revenue potential in their contractual relationships.

Zielinski joined SRM in 2015 with more than 25 years of financial services, account management, and business development experience, successfully leading a broad range of sales and marketing initiatives.

A top-performing professional in the financial services industry, Zielinski came to SRM from Deluxe Corporation where she worked closely with banks and credit unions, along with state associations, in both business development and account management roles.  Her previous experience includes Sales Management for Paychex, Major Account Management for Xerox, and being Vice President for First American Trust Company.

Zielinski’s significant business development expertise includes consultative selling techniques, identifying and closing opportunities for revenue and market share growth, and managing all aspects of prospective territory development. With a proven track record of increasing revenues and improving operating efficiency, Zielinski has helped numerous companies increase profitability.

Zielinski holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. She is based in Columbus, Ohio, and manages new client development efforts with banks and credit unions in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Ken Hayes

Ken Hayes is Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions at Strategic Resource Management. Ken has 25 years of experience as a sales professional that includes 20 years in direct business-to-business consultative selling and support to the financial institution industry. Prior to his role at SRM, Ken was Vice President, Business Development for MasterCard Worldwide where he had worked for more than 12 years.

Ken has extensive industry knowledge of electronic payments including card branding, ATM processing, debit and credit card services, POS, and risk management solutions.

Having worked in financial services since he was a junior in college, Ken’s background also includes retail banking operations and remote transaction delivery. He also has achieved repeated success in areas such as business development, revenue enhancement, card portfolio growth strategies, core processing vendor management, EFT processing and network branding, third party EFT switch vendor management, and more.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Northern Illinois University in finance and economics.
