Jesse Kohl

Professional Profile

Jesse began his career at Corporate Central in 2002 and has been instrumental in the expansion efforts of Corporate Central’s products, services, strategic alliances, education and overall membership base.  Jesse started as a Relationship Development Officer and worked directly with member credit unions to assess their financial climate and needs, and deliver value-added solutions to enhance their operations.  In April 2008, Jesse became Director-Business Development and oversaw all Midwest growth efforts for Corporate Central. In January 2014, Jesse became Vice President Business Development and now leads Corporate Central's sales, business development, marketing, and strategic alliance efforts by working with existing and future member credit unions across the country. 

In 2016, Jesse was named President of Corporate Central’s wholly owned CUSO, InterLutions, with a drive to provide innovative business solutions to credit unions across the country.

With nearly 15 years of experience working in the credit union movement, Jesse is proud of the accomplishments credit unions have achieved over the years, and believes there is tremendous opportunity for all credit unions to become wildly successful.  “It’s been an absolute joy working with so many credit unions across the country, and witnessing first-hand the amazing benefits credit unions provide to their members and communities.  Through hard work and collaboration, the credit union movement will not simply survive, it will thrive!”

Personal Profile

Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Finance.  Although 50 years late to the wild music scene known as the British Invasion, Jesse still considers himself a “Beatle-maniac” and will challenge anyone to a game of Beatles Trivial Pursuit.  He resides in Fort Atkinson, WI with his amazing wife Deanne and their three wonderful children.

Matt Sweeney

Professional Profile

Matt is based out of Lockton's Kansas City office and leads the National Credit Union Practice. As the team leader, he oversees the entire client relationship, provides advice on strategic business issues, guides our team of service experts, and develops new business opportunities. He has the authority to deploy and/or redirect resources as needed to ensure the highest level of service.

For Lockton's Credit Union Practice, he establishes the overall strategy, product/service development, and client standards. Lockton's Credit Union Practice works with credit unions (CUs) nationwide, totaling more than $100 billion in assets, to help them understand and develop long-term strategies in the bond, insurance, and employee benefits areas. As part of our due diligence/ vendor review process, we are able to benchmark the "right" strategies and approaches from the entire marketplace. Lockton was the codeveloper of the I-Care CUSO to help CUs participate in a collaborate solution for better employee benefits.

Matt's experience handling national CUs includes the former US Central, most of the Corporate Tier, Retail CUs with less than $10 million to nearly $10 billion in assets, and numerous CUSOs.

Personal Profile

Matt was born and raised in Manchester, England, and came to America to attend graduate school. Kansas City has been his home for the last 15 years. Having prior experience on a cycling race team, he now races cars. His other passions include studying history and traveling to see different countries and cultures. At home, he likes to spend time with his wife and two teenage children.

Ryan Staub

Ryan works in the Affinity division of Lockton Companies and specializes in developing group insurance programs. As a team leader, he oversees group programs as a whole and the entire client relationship, provides advice on strategic business issues, guides our team of service experts, and develops new business opportunities. Personal Profile

Ryan was born in Iowa and spent his early years in Illinois; Kansas City has been his home for the past 30 years. He enjoys playing golf and watching sports, but his real passion is racing cars. Ryan is a competitive amateur road-course racing driver and has collected many wins over the past 15 years in a variety of different sports cars. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons.

Mike Urick

Professional Profile

In his role as Senior Employee Benefits Consultant, Mike is responsible for understanding client needs and managing team and Lockton resources. Mike takes the lead in strategic planning, health reform analysis, and complex financial issues. Mike has experience with various funding arrangements and has a good understanding of carrier underwriting methodologies.

Mike has developed specific expertise in modeling captive strategies for self-funded health plans and for employers considering self-funding. He contributed to the technical development and launch of the I-Care CUSO, designed for credit unions looking to collaborate for a better employer health benefit program. Mike leads the service team for the credit unions participating in the I-Care program.

Personal Profile

Mike grew up in Iowa and graduated with a finance degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and earned his M.B.A. from Troy State University in Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoys attending sporting events and participating in outdoor activities, including fishing and pheasant hunting with his two teenage boys.

Sarah Rizzo

Professional Profile

As one of the senior account managers for credit unions, Sarah helped onboard the inaugural class of the I-Care participants in 2015 and is a dedicated resource for future participants in the Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO).

Sarah serves as the primary contact for clients and is responsible for various client projects, such as midyear projections, utilization reports, and strategic planning. She also facilitates the marketing and renewal process, from comparing and analyzing quote options to negotiating with carrier partners. She is committed to building exceptionally strong relationships and providing the best service in the industry to her clients.

Personal Profile

Hailing from a small town in central Kansas, Sarah is a country girl at heart. She competed as an NCAA Division I athlete at Kansas State University as a member and team captain of the women's equestrian team. She now uses her competitive spirit to achieve success in the business world. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, snow skiing, baking, and most importantly, spending time with her husband and son.

Kendall Dixon

Professional Profile

As an Account Manager, Kendall is an additional resource for clients and a vital part of the credit union team. She manages projects and vendor performance, compiles reports, prepares RFP result recommendations, addresses service issues, and provides analysis of I-Care plan financials and utilization performance.

Personal Profile

Kendall moved to Kansas City after working in the Dallas area for several years. She loves the outdoors and is always up for a good adventure, especially if she can include her two dogs. Some of her passions include camping, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
