InterLutions Holds HR Forum Focused on Collaborative Employee Benefit Solutions

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – September 10, 2018 – Credit union HR professionals gathered last week to learn more about I-Care Employee Benefits solutions at InterLutions’ fall I-Care HR Forum. The educational event focused on employee compensation. It also addressed the big data benefits of collaboration, the current state of I-Care, and healthcare insurance trends.

I-Care HR Forum

Attendees learn about I-Care employee benefit solutions and support services at the InterLutions fall I-Care Forum.

“We all want to give employees the benefits they deserve and I-Care offers the means to do just that,” said Jesse Kohl, President of InterLutions. “Through the power of collaboration, I-Care allows credit unions to take control of healthcare costs and risks. When credit unions pool their resources, knowledge, and data through I-Care, each partnering credit union becomes a bigger player in the healthcare arena. Each credit union holds more negotiating power. Each credit union is able to spread risk over a larger healthcare-user population and gains access to big data that can pinpoint cost drivers. I-Care is a win-win for both employees and credit unions.”

“If I had to do this all over again, knowing what I know now, I would have self-funded through I-Care a lot sooner,” said Peter Stein, Chief People Officer, Educators Credit Union. “The transition to I-Care was very easy, and these forums are just one of several support services offered by I-Care that keep us on top of trends, analytics, and innovations in the employee healthcare arena.”

Forum participants heard presentations on employee compensation strategies, trends, and benchmarks from representatives of Lockton, the largest independent insurance broker in the world. Attendees also participated in roundtable discussions regarding wellness programs and appropriate benchmark-setting.

“Besides its educational focus, the forum presented an opportunity for credit union HR professionals to share experiences, exchange ideas, and network with peers,” added Kohl. “Pooling, sharing, and innovating together is the credit union way and I-Care is no different. Collaboration is the very foundation of the I-Care Employee Benefits solution.”
